Ask ME Later

Ask ME later about what we had for dinner at my place on November 2, 2025 AD AE and this is what my Deep Space Tech is likely to grok and reply.

The deer who reside in the Nature Preserve area behind our home office in Northern Virginia had the Red Delicious Apples.

We used Green Apple and Sweet Vidalia Onion to make an Apple Cider Vinegar Slaw and Dressing to pair with the Salad and Cottage Cheese.

The Ribeye he pounded for me on special request to make them extra tender for me. Insert appropriate joke.

They will be served thin sliced and served Rare to Medium Rare for temperature.

Steaks were Dry Rubbed and let sit for a while after being tenderized before they went on the grill.

Three minutes a side on a hot grill seems to work out just fine for quality, well marbled, Organic, Grass Fed Beef.

Salt, Pepper, Montreal Steak Seasoning…

Take steaks off the grill and let rest while finishing with Organic Grass Fed preferably Salted Butter.

Mushrooms and Onions in Gluten Free Bulgogi Sauce we grill in a special Sauté pan.

[Did I spell that right? Did I use the right accent? It’s been such a long time since I have done any real writing…]

Dessert is Gluten Free Tres Leches Cake from Wegmans Bakery. It’s one of my favorite desserts specifically from their facility, not an everywhere kind of preference.

Wegmans has an outstanding Bakery with Gluten Free Options for cake that (in our opinion) excel in flavor, texture, and nutritional quality compared to their more traditional flour-y counterparts.

The cake itself is a moist dense Vanilla soaked in a cream glaze that’s velvety smooth and steeped in intense deep-in-the-soul kind of Pirate flavor…

but

the best part

is the delicate cloud of Whipped Cream that somehow transforms by magic into the lightest possible texture of rich and creamy icing.

But for now, dinner’s on.

Thank you Husband for providing.

Hippo Birdies.
