Lunch On The Deck: Autumn Edition

On any day the weather is sunny and pleasant wherever I am, I strive to enjoy breakfast, brunch, snacktime, or my dinner outside.

Today’s lunch was leftover Chicken Wings my husband made us night before last.

This time of year when my allergies lead to stuffy nose and ear infections, I try to eat something spicy to clear congestion.

The obvious easy favorite choice to dress up Gluten Free Chicken Wings that are crisped in an Air Fryer (ours happens to be from the brand name appliance maker Ninja) is Texas Pete Wing Sauce paired with Marie’s Chunky Blue Cheese.

I like mine paired with plain Crisped Lettuce. Our current favorite comes from a company (arguably a place) called Bright Farms.

Today, I could not help but notice…

my lunch plate resembles the color of my yard.

It’s sunny and clear on Lowe’s Island today. A chilly breeze blows under a blue happy sky.

Birds are singing.

Bees are buzzing.

Planes flying over where I sit watching are leaving Chemtrails.

The news talks of the United States being in it’s longest government shutdown and decisions made by the Transportation Czar what’s his name to suspend 10% of all flights to major airport hubs beginning tomorrow.

Good times expected heading into the holidays as folks without healthcare or much spending cash have been encouraged to book backup tickets with their air miles by the United States Government and are claiming there’s no guarantee if you get on a flight that has a transfer that you will be delivered to the other end of your ticket destination based on verbage of Fox NEWS.

Unfortunately, Fox News is British Intelligence.

MSNBC focuses on National News for American Intelligence Consumers.

CNN used to focus on American Global Intelligence of interest but wavers between that now and Wolf Blitzer running game since the 1980s on Financial Services.

Roger Stone thing…

while nearly all of the Newscasters got involved in Sports rigging and gambled legally and illegally on Adsense Revenue backed gambling outcomes.

Quite the fall…

playing Chicken with reality.

Today on the porch.

Satellites just watched my dog and I say hi to our suite mate.

He’s concerned whether or not I am warm enough.

It’s chilly — noting in the sun it is quite warm but I’m the shade or when the wind blows here off of and over the Potomac River it makes it feel a few degrees colder than what is otherwise expected ambient air temperature.

We look after each other.

I think it is nice someone other than me notices such things as other people’s comfort and actually cares. He and my husband are both INxJ males and I am an INTP Female.

We are all gifted and talented, genius IQ Polymath. It’s a blessing to have one another for roommates, noting we all struggle to remember to look after ourselves — especially when deep in thought on any Think Tank Project or whenever we are without social prompt to XYZ remember.

Did we eat today? Did we have enough fluids to prevent dehydration translation do you need any coffee? Are we warm enough or cool enough depending on season? Does one of us need the ambient temperature in the house raised warmer or cooler? Have we all had enough sun? Have we all exercised? Has the car had fresh air? Had the dog been outside for a walk or to play frisbee? Has someone fed the deer and the foxes yet today by leaving apple and veggie scraps for veggie beasts and any leftovers for tiny carnivores like my pile of Chicken Wing Bones out for them? — are the typical ongoing High Functioning Autistic Adult conversations.

That, and this week’s seasonal allergy reminder. The German Stunt Pilot says I must take a teaspoon of Local Honey each day to abate allergies — and I agree in theory yet struggle often to practice.

We discuss local honey available at the Sterling Farmer’s Market. I wonder if it will be open the week of Thanksgiving for my husband and I to visit.

As for the rest, the cat has the right idea I am starting to think. He’s perched himself in the doorway in a sunbeam clear of the wind but still able to enjoy the fresh air.

Dog is a bit more hardy. She’s been lying down but also just got herself up and headed back inside with the latest more forceful wind gust.

I think I will take the rest of my coffee inside for the day. Wind is too gusty to keep the solar umbrella open that gives me enough shade to see my screens up safely without risk of tipping or breaking if it gets caught at just the right angle to blow away.

Thank you husband for the tasty meal(s). Tonight we will be making something fun using Puff Pastry.

What?

Not sure yet.

Quite possibly Gluten Free Pizza Bites or some kind of Stuffed Pastry Pockets.

Whatever the case, they likely will not be the same colors as beautiful outdoor fall.

And with that, I contemplate heading back inside. My toes are cold.

Our roommate was right I need to bundle up more if I want to stay working outside.

Cheers to Grandfather Harald Bluetooth for all the WiFi.

May your day be warm and Apple Cider Cinnamon with a hint of Chinese Red Pepper, Nutmeg, and Warm Baked Apple flavor and scent kind of spicy.

Virgina remains one of the most beautiful places anywhere.
