Welcome to the Last Resort Club, a service provided by SOBERING FAMILY MINISTRIES for folks who need a safe place to check in and check out of life for a vacation time out.

Bring your own tent, glamper, or camper. Pack in and out. Leave no sign of use or damage apart from improving the are fbo future campers. Be our kind and polite to everyone when on land or in the community who you encounter.
Our request and rule? NO BOOZE or placing yourself in harm’s way out there in general.
Pot Friendly, trip worthy locale… no bad ju ju allowed on the property ever.
Property Tax Records indicate Lot 1 is owned by Kristi Davis if you are looking for the paperwork and location. This particular lot is presently reserved for use by Family members interested in camping in remote areas, on our lot specifically with permission and day to day rental contracts only.
Why consider making the trek? Both to Albuquerque and to Los Lunas out into the middle of the desert? Apart from the Hot Air Balloon Festival in October annually in the area, there’s not much to do apart from Desert Hiking and contemplating your naval while out there.
As such the WHY of why to make the trek that from our home office in DC we think of as the trip WEST. For you, you might be headed East or coming South from up North.
The when part is up to you. The WHERE part was up to and provided by me.
The WHY? Coupled, of course with the when and where from is up to you. It’s all based on need for extreme respite and based on when and if anyone is interested in Star Gazing or filming New Mexico area desert fun things like daily sunrises and sunsets.

That’s for you to figure out if and when the time doth call.
If you come, you are welcome to trade labor procuring and planting LAVENDAR and ALOE around the property in exchange for camping rental.
Valencia County in Florida is a clue involved with Pirate and Privateer history. Seek more data out before you come to see if you and the desert get along comfortably.
Valencia County is where the Extreme Desert Camping lot is located.
You know… the place where Cortez the Buccaneer is rumored to have hidden his idea of treasure.

Webquest to find the coordinates. Bring a metal detector. See if you can figure out where Cortez and his men took then stashed their favorite types of Pirate Booty.
Expect the worst conditions from the land — but use that fabulous brain of yours to plan for the best possible of vacation or Glamping In the Desert outcome.
Extreme Camping and recreational hiking on Raw Desert Land is not for the faint of heart.
Test your mettle. Visit the area.
Cross DESERT CAMPING off your bucket list — noting LAST RESORT extreme glamping ops are yours to enjoy off grid while on.
Valencia County, New Mexico (to be more specific for those doing research about where to camp in the Los Lunas or Albuquerque area in general) is huge, serene, and a wonderful place to escape for as long as you need to rest, recharge, and to do some serious power thinking.
Rio Del Oro Subdivision is the location of Lots 1-5 of the Last Resort Club properties. Lot 6 is nearby for private use by Property Owners as well as Lot Caretakers and or Property Management teams who assist with Campsite Maintenance and Special Events.

We also own five other Tiny Home friendly lots in the Rio Del Oro community within an hour’s drive of each other that could use routine Spiritual Tending as well.
If you cannot visit in person, think a nice thought for all the people who ever lived in or passed through our area.
We also own a full acre lot that is Raw Land like this particular parcel outside of Belen but it has neighbors and is far easier to access by paved road. Inquire and let us know your thoughts about renting it for a longer contract.
