My Tiny Visitor showed up today. This little bird yellow and gray bird was by my front door on Lowes Island, Virginia today when I returned from a very short walk. He didn’t startle or seem afraid of me. He (she?) hopped onto a stick I provided. Then took a little rest. After that he jumped and sat on my arm. Then it moved to my shoulder once my arm got tired. After, it moved from one shoulder to another it popped into the bushes by my front walkway. I put out some seed in case that was the request. It is my hope the little bird is fine and chooses to make our home it’s safety spot as winter chill approaches. If I see it again I will try to get photos. As it stands, these are the only photographic reminder the wildlife interaction even occured. My autistic self can still feel it on me. The sweet thing was so light! I am used to parrots. Now to look up what kind of bird the sweet baby is (was). I hope it feels safe, wherever it goes now.
