On Quality People

Quality People are the best kind of people to be around, to work with, to build a family or business with, to have as members of any size or type of community, and to know. But who are they and how do you actually spot them in the wild?

Quality People are easy to spot at a social outing. They tend to be the ones interacting with others on task oriented projects with relative ease.

Quality People are thoughtful. They ask pointed questions about people’s needs and preferences. After obtaining an answer they tend to strive to remember.

Quality People are those who are willing to share accurate responses when asked questions. They strive to answer questions accurately but with tact, as honesty without tact oftentimes comes across as rude and or short at best (and as downright socially and emotionally abusive without appropriate word choices couched around whatever curt expression of emotion or analytical thinking was said).

Quality People ask about your day or your life. They ask because they care and they strive when they see you later to continue the conversation where it left off. No one in their world is left feeling like they were not heard or understood — or without the ability to feel that way simply by reaching out and connecting to the person who they know cares enough to care and to listen with the intent to strive to understand them.

Quality People share details fullsomely about life. They don’t trash talk and try to break down other people and no human is used by them as an abuse target. Look for such people having quiet aside chats with others at a party or being gregarious in a classroom leading or participating in a spirited discussion.

Quality People tend to focus on self improvement, on building communities, and on making the world in general at least better by a little if not by a lot more than when they found it.

Quality People tend to be bright of mind with a lifelong interest in improvement of spirit. They also relish time spent alone or in a small group with anyone who — like themselves — is interested in having meaningful friendships as well as ongoing lifelong relationships with people of interest who they meet (not simply their family members).

Quality People also tend not to be enamored with the idea of people having children so they will never be alone. One can readily spot a Quality Person as the one who joins or hosts social events where everyone is welcome who is of a non Cluster B nature; translation: Liars and Gaslighters and anyone prone to social con artist behavior or prone to violence are welcome to have whatever type of day they want elsewhere as only folks who are socially safe to know tend to be kept in their inner circle.
