Walking Pad. A portable treadmill device made for walking in place while recording distance. Often appropriate for light jogging and cardiovascular as well as lean muscle training. Often corded electric, walking pads can be flat surface or offer varied incline. Many come with options like handles, a built in over desk, lights, speakers, pedometer, and have options to operate them using Bluetooth, Wifi, or USB port technology. They can easily be stored under a large high sofa or under a twin bed. They are exceptionally helpful during cold weather for anyone interested in exercise minus the need to brave snow and ice in cold weather climates and for anyone shut in with need to remain physically fit while in an isolated environment.
